NAFDAC takes charge of N25million worth of expired drugs

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Edo state, yesterday, took charge of expired drugs worth over N25m from representatives of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria in the state. The expired drugs were handed over to NAFDAC by officers of the Communities Pharmacies Action Centre. According to COPA, the exercise was in line with its professional duties to submit for destruction expired drugs collated from pharmacies in the state.
